CAHA & AHA Membership Renewal Online

There are two ways you can renew or join Calgary Arabian Horse Association (CAHA) and Arabian Horse Association (AHA)

The best way to join or renew your CAHA and AHA membership is online. You will need your AHA membership number if you have one. Here are the easy instructions:
  1. This is the first and best way go to www.arabianhorses.org
  2. Go to 'Membership' along the top navigation row. In the roll down menu that appears, click on 'Join or Renew Membership' (1/3 of the way down).
  3. Follow the appropriate instructions to continue.
  4. To select our Calgary club, click on 'club list', then click on Region 17 of the map that appears, then '17132-Calgary AHA'.
  5. Competition/Insurance Card - If you plan on showing or officiating at AHA recognized events, you will need to purchase this card. It is not needed for AHA Incentive Riding Programs.

  6. Your fees will be calculated in US dollars and you will need to pay by Visa or Master card. Late fees of $10 USD have now been abolished YEAHHHH for most of us.
  7. The second way is to open the adobe membership application below and snail mail them to Carol Mortimer at the address indicated on the form.

On March 8 2008, the Board of Directors of the Arabian Horse Association approved recommendations of the Budget & Finance Committee to raise program fees in order to offset price increases passed on to AHA by awards vendors over the past 4 years. In addition, inflationary adjustments have not been made as evidenced by the Halter Futurity processing fee which has not seen an increase since 1989.

For the first time since 2002, there will also be an increase in the Competition Card fee from $20 to $35.

The AHA Board of Directors weighed these increases very carefully and found that AHA has not kept up with inflation in our program fees. These incremental adjustments will help keep AHA's awards programs active and financially healthy.

The chart below details the AHA program fee changes, which will be effective as of April 1, 2008.
